Hi Girlies,
Yesterday we were in Albany, Australia. We didn’t spend time in Albany because we went on a tour to The Valley of the Giants. The giants are huge trees. They are called red tingle trees and this is the only place in the world they grow.
The really neat thing is that you can walk through to tops of the trees on a walkway that is over 100 feet above the ground.
Nanoo doesn’t like heights, but she wasn’t scared on this walkway.
She got photo bombed! I guess this woman really wanted in the picture. Don’t know who she is.
She even did a selfie, and Nanoo does not do selfies!
The walk was lots of fun and the trees were beautiful. The trees are big but not nearly as big as the California Redwoods.
After our walk in the trees we went to lunch at a restaurant that had a beautiful view of the ocean.
After lunch we went to a winery for a little wine sampling. We then went back to the ship after our 7 hour tour. We had a very fun day with perfect weather. We are now sailing toward Fremantle/Perth, Australia. This our last stop in Australia and we will be there for two nights. The temperature is Perth is forcast to be 90 degrees! After we leave Perth we have 6 days at sea before we reach Port Louis in Mauritius. So bye for now, we will post about our time in Perth in a couple days.
Love,
Gpa and Nanoo
